Would you call the Direct Sales industry doing $166.9 billion a year, worldwide, “failing?”
$31.63 billion in sales is done in the USA alone.
8% of direct sellers earn more than $50,000 a year.
So right there, if everybody else was “failing”, the stat would be 92% failure rate (not 95%), which is not true, either.
The median gross income for a direct seller is about $2,400 each year, or $200 a month. For 52% of these distributors (over half), that’s all they wanted … to earn supplemental income.
“Only” 33% of people who get involved in direct selling, get involved to make a full-time income.
So when we really look at the numbers correctly, 24% of those who get involved with the intention to succeed, do succeed … and make more than $50,000 a year!
Now we’re looking at a success rate in direct sales of 24% making over $50,000 each year.
Knowing this sure changes the apparent hopeless outlook, which some marketers (who are selling their online systems) portray, doesn’t it?
The reason these marketers lie about this is simple. Profit (for them). They’re trying to make it look as if by not using their paid system, you’re doomed to failure in your marketing efforts … which is utterly ridiculous.
So, be on guard from anybody who reports the B.S. that 95% fail in our industry.
It’s not true.
You have a 24% chance (statistically) of making over $50,000 a year in our industry, if that’s your intention.
Start telling the good news! You have some positive facts to report to your downline and to potential distributors.
